My name is Davon J. Merritt
I’m a graduate from James Madison University with a Technical Writing degree, located in the Philadelphia region.
My career dream for most of my life was to do something related to marketing and advertising. But for the longest time, I couldn’t figure out what. I changed majors because I wasn’t feeling passionate about my studies. Then stuck with technical writing; I was almost there, but not quite.
One year later, it hit me.
I love coming up with funny, witty headlines. I randomly think of great names for products or businesses. I’m always thinking of creative ways to get people to do or buy something.

I have four years of professional writing experience. I write blog posts for companies on the side. I’ve managed multiple social media accounts for college organizations and a local business before. I’m even helping a colleague with their digital marketing for their startup.
Since graduating, I made sure to keep up my skills so that I can continue to:
